Autism Care Partners Expands into New Jersey, Opening New Center in Marlton and Serving Camden and Burlington Counties
NEW YORK, June 8, 2022 – Autism Care Partners (“ACP”) continues to expand services to families in the Northeast, opening a new location in Marlton, New Jersey. With this added treatment hub, ACP marks its entry into The Garden State, which consistently has one of the highest reported prevalence rates of autism spectrum disorder in the country. The most recent analysis (2021) released from the CDC revealed that 1 in 35 children in New Jersey are diagnosed on the autism spectrum by the age of 8.
Nick James, Chief Development Officer, said, “ACP is excited to be expanding our industry-leading interdisciplinary model into New Jersey and playing our part in increasing access to these critical services for the families we will be privileged to serve”. While the Marlton center will immediately offer Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), ACP is excited to soon augment behavioral treatment with Diagnostic Evaluations, Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Licensed Clinical Social Work services to the children and families it serves. Further, in the nearterm, ACP plans to deploy The Visual Immersion System™ (VIS™), its proprietary and innovative speech treatment program co-developed at Boston Children’s Hospital’s Autism Language Program, across the enterprise. The VIS™, an evidence-based intervention, differentially improves communication and learning for individuals on the autism spectrum through the use of a technology-supported, visual-based, treatment framework.
On June 14th at 5:00 p.m., the Mayor of Marlton/Evesham, Jaclyn Veasy, and her team will participate in a ribbon cutting ceremony at ACP’s Marlton center grand opening. ACP also welcomes families, academic and medical partners, health plan colleagues and community members to this event to learn about ACP and its comprehensive suite of services.
