Plainview Center

In Plainview, we offer center-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and center- and home-based Early Intervention services.

ABA Programming

We operate as Autism Care Partners to provide ABA services (center-based) for children over the age of three. We offer diagnostic evaluations if you suspect a child might be on the Autism Spectrum. We conduct detailed behavior and skills assessments, to determine the specific needs of children and their family. Treatment plans with goals pertaining to communication skills, social interactions, play skills, daily living skills, and restricted interests and repetitive behaviors will be created and reviewed with caregivers. These goals will be worked on throughout their ABA sessions.

Sessions are one-to-one with a (registered) behavior technician. Oversight is conducted by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) and Licensed Behavior Analysts (LBA). Caregivers meet with the BCBA regularly to ensure carryover of strategies and interventions into the home as well. ACP is a place where learning, socialization, and communication growth is fun and effective!

New York Early Intervention Disclaimer

For children 0-3 in New York State:

The Early Intervention Program is a public program funded by New York State, Nassau & Suffolk counties, and the NYC Department of Mental Health, and is for children less than three years of age who have or are suspected of having a developmental delay and/or disability. Eligibility for the EIP can be determined only by State approved evaluators under contract with the municipality. If a child is found eligible for the EIP, all services are identified in collaboration with the family and must be authorized by the municipality. The municipality will arrange for service providers to deliver services authorized by the municipality. All services under the EIP are provided at no out-of-pocket cost to families, but health insurance may be accessed, without affecting your family’s benefits. For services provided in community settings that require a fee, the parent is responsible for paying those costs. To access EI services, contact the Nassau County Department of Health at 516-227-8661 or the Suffolk County Department of Health at 631-853-3100 or the Westchester County Department of Health at 914-813-5094. To access EI services within New York City, contact the NYC Help Line at 311.
