At our Avon Center, we offer a comprehensive approach to evaluating and diagnosing your child. Clinically proven, evidence-based therapy ensures our clients receive the most effective care possible. Our job doesn’t stop there. We work alongside families to create a full partnership to navigate the often overwhelming landscape and assist in coordinating care.
Salli Shon
Licensed Clinical Social Worker, BCBA
Salli Shon is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Salli received her Master’s in social work at New York University and has over 25 years of experience working with children and families across a broad spectrum of settings comprising foster care, residential treatment facilities, partial hospital programs, outpatient counseling centers and in-home ABA programs. Over 10 years ago, Salli specialized in Autism and pursued a post master’s program in Applied Behavior Analysis. To further hone her skills in understanding and treating Autistic children and adolescents, Salli received training at Cornell Weill Medical Center to conduct the ADOS as part of a diagnostic evaluation protocol. Salli believes that to be effective, a practitioner requires both clinical competencies and empathy. Salli’s current role at Autism Care Partners include regional social work lead, diagnostician, and managing BCBA of the Avon CT center.
Amy Cornett
Meet Amy! Amy has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and is the Family Liaison at ACP’s Avon, CT location. Amy has a background in being a Direct Support Professional and has several years of customer service experience. She loves providing excellent support to our families and find solutions to their needs.
Olga Spinola
Family Liaison
Olga is the Family Liaison for the Psychological Assessment and Counseling Center and coordinates diagnostic evaluations in Massachusetts and Connecticut. She joined Autism Care Partners in 2016. Olga is fluent in Spanish, Portuguese, and Portuguese Creole. Olga has a certificate in medical billing, coding, and administration.
