Autism Care Partners Expands to Serve all Regions in Massachusetts with Opening of New Center in Holyoke

NEW YORK, June 8th, 2022 – Autism Care Partners (“ACP”) continues to expand services to families throughout Massachusetts, opening a new location in Holyoke, and marking the organization’s seventh treatment hub in the Commonwealth. With the Holyoke site, ACP is one of the most scaled Autism providers serving families in Massachusetts.

Nick James, Chief Development Officer, said, “The expansion into Holyoke marks a significant milestone for ACP, as we are now a statewide provider throughout the Commonwealth, with continued plans of expansion in the market. With CDC reports continuing to show an increasing prevalence of autism spectrum disorder (1 in 44 children by age 8), even while obtaining diagnostics remains a bottleneck for families, ACP remains committed to expanding access to these critical services.” While the Holyoke center will immediately offer Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), ACP is excited to soon augment behavioral treatment with Diagnositc Evaluations, Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Licensed Clinical Social Work services to the children and families it serves. Further, in the nearterm, ACP plans to deploy The Visual Immersion System™ (VIS™), its proprietary and innovative speech treatment program co-developed with Boston Children’s Hospital’s Autism Language Program, across the enterprise. The VIS™, an evidencebased intervention, differentially improves communication and learning for individuals on the autism spectrum through the use of a technology-supported, visual-based, treatment framework.

On June 15th at 5:00 p.m., the Mayor of Holyoke, Joshua Garcia, will officiate a ribbon cutting ceremony at a grand opening event. In addition to local officials, ACP happily welcomes families, academic and medical partners, health plan colleagues and community members to its new center to learn about ACP and its comprehensive suite of interdiscplinary services.
